Neighborhood Watch
Crimestoppers please note:
Remember to stay vigilant in reporting suspicious activity. If you see anyone on bikes or foot wandering around without an apparent destination, call KDPS non-emergency - City (337-8994), or non-emergency Township police (343-0568) and report suspicious individuals. In summer we’re frequently outside working, but please remember to keep homes, garages, and autos locked. Also consider keeping a good neighbor apprised when you are to be vacationing for any length of time, so that they may keep an added eye on your property. Remember to stop mail and newspapers for extended trips.
Assistant Chief Brian Uridge in the City of Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety serves as the person who will provide information about security/safety incidents in the neighborhood when the police become involved. You can contact him for information by emailing him at: uridgeb@kalamazoocity.org, or by calling him at 269-337-8123. He states that the best way to communicate with him is usually by email.
